Peter is with
the Department of Cardiology, Northern
Health, Melbourne. He completed his
interventional fellowship at the Royal Brompton
Hospital, UK and was awarded his PhD in the use of OCT in interventional
Cardiology from the Thoraxcenter, Erasmus University,
supervised by Profs. Patrick Serruys
and Carlo Di Mario. He introduced OCT
into Australia and continues an active clinical and research interest in the study of atherosclerotic
plaque and stent endothelialisation using OCT and has
published numerous papers in the field. |

Rob is the Director of the Cardiac
Catheterisation Laboratory and
Cardiovascular Research Centre, St Vincents
Hospital, Melbourne. He is an investigator in
multiple device related trials and has
pioneered the introduction and use of
biodegradable stents in Australian patients.
He is focused on the use of OCT in the
assessment of tissue healing following stent
implantation and continues to evaluate this
modality together with traditional IVUS and
FFR. |
